What the artist is

From the eyes from you or me, artist should be in what shape? Long hair, long beard,wearing dirty T shirt with many color of pigment, in one word,Sloven. Right?

While actually , it is imagination what the artists are now?

Perhaps, in your country,in your region, it is still like that, while not here, not in Dafen oil painting village,not in China.

You may ask, what they would look like? good questions,

they look like ....... you cuold not find them. Why?

Because they are Imprisons in cabinet, they are imprisoned by themself, or in another word, been imprsioned by this society, 5-6 artist live in one apartment less than 60 SQM , work from day to night, the only time they walk out the prsion is when the time they have to submit their works to their boss and ask back some money to keep their pot boiling.

Maybe you would ask, i acquistance with a lot of artist in China , they are well educated, well dressed and living a glorous life style.

Then i would have another question, are they artist anymore? I think they are only the poor Test piece of this crazy world. They do not paint anymore, what they have to do is to how to make money faster than paint by themselves,even if they are only painting less than 5 hours per month. They think they should have a better way to be more rich.

Ok, i think i am a little away from the subject.

Today focus is those poor artist or paintman at the bottom of the society.

I had met a lot of artist been drived away by their house renter because they could not afford the 60USD/month rent of the shared apartment, i had met a lot of artist who was worrying about their next meal.

When you walking around Dafen village, you maybe be surprised by the wealthy of this country, the decorated buildings, the cost 300000000 RMB(US$45 millIon) Dafen museum,maybe hav other surprising , while when you walk into the artist community, you would found that many of them are working 16 hours per day, while them more of them have less than us$30 cash in the pocket ,and non of them have US$3000 in their bank.

Sadly, i am also in thise gloomy enviroment, while be honestly, i had neve treat with my artists.All the artist working for us are at the high end of the artist group.

Compare with your income, maybe they are just at the bottom of earning living, while at least, they are living dignity, they could afford their rent, they could afford their family, they could afford the children School expense
