If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly movie, you can�t miss with Disney�s �National Treasure: Book of Secrets�. This is a sequel of the original, National Treasure, which was released in 2004. Both films were directed by Hollywood favorite, Jon Turtletaub. Sometimes sequels can be disappointing; not this one! A globe-trotting, treasure-hunting Ben Gates is back. Gates is played magnificently by Oscar-winning Best Actor, Nicholas Cage who reprises the role. The film finds Gates on a quest to find the �Lost City of Gold�. The adrenaline-pumping caper takes Ben and his band of fellow-travelers from Washington D.C. to Paris to London and back again! Shot on location, the film shows off Washington and the European cities at their absolute best.

Ben Gates is not alone on his journey; he is accompanied by Patrick Gates, his father. Played by fellow Best Actor Oscar-winner, Jon Voight, Patrick is also a spirited adventurer-at-heart and eagerly participates to help Ben search for the Lost City. The onscreen chemistry between Cage and Voight is evident and endearing.

The film also features Diane Kruger, who plays Abigail Chase, Patrick�s romantic interest and fellow treasure hunter. Together, they traverse the globe from Washington to Paris to London and back.

The plot is based around Ben�s search for the �Lost City of Gold�. Cinematography buffs will enjoy the interesting camera angles and the beautiful shots of Paris and London. Ben, along with family and friends, trots around the world looking for the Lost City. Following a string of clues, Ben finally gets to the clue which will lead him to the treasure he seeks.

The film has a rating of �PG� for some scenes which feature minor violence scattered throughout it. All in all, the film is suitable for and provides entertainment to family members of all ages. Kids are captivated by the fast-paces, humorous treasure hunt and are intrigued by following along to discover the clues.
