The Child-Like Ghost - Part 2

By: A Kasady

Annabel immediately told us that the ghost, who had now told her his name was 'George', was with us. We asked George to start playing in the room for us, and what we got back was a little bit creepy. Emma, one of the team, claimed that she had just heard a small groan from right next to her. Katherine investigated the area with the temperature reader, and in that one spot next to Emma the temperature read a whole degree less than anywhere else in the room.

We thanked the ghost and asked for more activity, once again one of the other members of the team told us that they had just felt a small tug around their hip/leg area. Annabel claimed that this was indeed George playing around and that, in his childlike state of mind, was laughing at making us all jump!

The ghost of George continued with his games on touching, making small, soft bumps and whispering noises in peoples ears, but we wanted more, so we asked ghost if he could throw one of the children of the house' toys at us. We got nothing in return. With the night wearing on I decided to call it a day. Annabel wanted to help George move on and this was something she preferred to do alone.

As we were leaving the room, we suddenly heard small thumping on one of the walls. Turning around, we found a small cuddly toy on the floor. Knowing that this could only be the work of the ghost, we re-entered and asked him to do the same thing again. Annabel asked if the ghost wanted us to go. He didn't, which got some the female members of the team aahing. I asked Annabel to tell him that we wouldn't leave if he would throw another cuddly toy on the floor for us.

We heard another bump in the corner of the room and when we looked we found another toy on the floor. When we approached, we could hear more bumping sounds coming from the area of the toy.

We all agreed that as it was getting late, it was time for us to leave the house and go home. Annabel stayed to help the ghost to the other side, which a lot of us questioned whether he would actually want to go. As Annabel left the house with a big smile on her face, and the mother of the household giving her a hug goodbye, we knew that Annabel had been successful in helping the ghost spirit move on.

Dr. Katherine Copeland, being a cynic, had agreed that some of the activity that had taken place had been interesting. She had been especially interested in the stories of the ectoplasm, and was very disappointed to have not found anything.

I felt it had been an interesting night for the team, and the toys being thrown when we asked for them, was fascinating. I think it was a very successful nights work for the team.
