Positive Aspects Of Liquid Vitamins and Minerals

By: JD Stratis

Liquid Vitamins And Minerals, Are They Better? The standard method of getting vitamins and minerals is through the food and drink that we ingest. For the past 20 years or so we have become conditioned to taking vitamins in pills or capsules to add the vitamins and minerals missing from our diet. One of the latest methods of taking supplements is in their liquid form, causing the question: which is better? Liquid, Capsule or Pill forms of Vitamin intake?

Though liquid vitamins have in the past, had a less favourable taste than supplements coated in sugar as flavoured or chewy pill methods, they're definitely easier to assimilate into our bodies. Many cases have been recorded in which youngsters have troubles with gagging, inhaling and choking just because of the size of the tablet, pill or capsule. The equivalent issue exists also for grown-ups who are unable to control their jaws and not able to stomach anything that isn't in the form of a fluid.

Since the content of liquid supplementations can be taken in by your body virtually at once, your system receives the vitamin quicker, and the ranking of absorbtion can be as high as 90-98%. Liquid vitamins are also 3 to 5 times more concentrated than supplemental pills, tablets and capsules and this stimulates greater bio-activity and further wellness benefits.

Have you ever wondered whether or not liquefied supplementations contained antioxidants too? Vitamins E, C and A are classified as antioxidants and are usually found in most multi-vitamins but what about liquid supplements? Vitamins in liquid form are comprised of these antioxidants similar to standard tablet vitamins. Remember that the most important of all antioxidants - Vitamins A, C and E - are not internally made by the body so they are required to be a staple of what we ingest. Antioxidants are our principal protector against the ravages of damaging oxidation and chemical reaction. Antioxidants are our primary weapon in the fight against cancer and other diseases. Without them, we're essentially frailer and weaker in our defensive immune system.

Many people decline to recognise the benefits of liquid supplements partly because of the purported wipeout of their gains by digestive acids of the stomach. Naysayers believe that any vitamin or mineral that the digestive system doesn't acknowledge as part of the action of digestion are expelled as waste. The opposite is, as a matter of fact the truth. Our gastrointestinal system actually favours or is more capable of absorbing liquid supplements and minerals more than those created in pill or capsule form of delivery.

Liquid vitamins are much easier on our system because it does not have to work overtime breaking down the matter that makes up most tablet or pill type vitamins. Cheaper ones are made up of much "filler" which is difficult for our systems to break down. Because liquid vitamins are not made up of a physical piece of material, there is very little for our bodies to digest, so the vitamins can enter our system virtually instantly. Digestion takes place to transpose what we ingest into substances that our bodies can easily absorb and carry to our organs via the bloodstream.

Some suggest that the levels of colloidal minerals found in vitamins and also liquid vitamins pose something of a health hazard. In fact all plants, fruits and vegetables contain trace amounts of colloidal minerals naturally. An apple for example contains 3-5 mg of Aluminum as it it is one of the more common elements found in Nature. That said, have you ever heard of anyone saying that Apples are unhealthy? You know what they say: An Apple A Day...

This is the same case with liquid vitamins. Containing trace amounts of colloidal minerals doesn't mean that it poses any risks when consuming it. Colloidal minerals, are first and foremost, part of nature's make-up -a chemical element and part of nearly everything we consume that comes from the earth. The facts are all available but, it's still your decision whether or not you would like to take your Vitamins in liquid or solid form. All that really matters is that you understand importance of vitamins and minerals to our health and make your choice based on your preference.
