In fact, Florida is on the receiving side of the highest chunk of allocation from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for its foreclosures. Miami-Dade county will get roughly $62.2 Million, the largest allocation both in Florida and in the nation, Miami will get $12 Million and Miami Gardens will get $6.8 Million. This amount may be used to buy foreclosed homes or assist low and middle cost homeowners with their funding.
