How to fix Outlook Express Errors

By: Thomas Haddelin

Everyone uses email these days. A large percentage of them use Outlook for their email client.

As with anything else, Outlook Express can be tough to use. It's even tougher when you run into errors while trying to use it.

Dozens of things can cause errors with Outlook Express. Most of them are failed connections, Address errors, failed email delivery, POP issues, and strange Outlook crashes.

Unable to connect to email server errors are perhaps the quickest to fix. Restoring your Internet connection usually takes care of it.

Opening Outlook to get an Address Book error is difficult to fix. More so if your registry keys for it have become corrupt.

Bad email and failed delivery are both part of regular email errors. Slow Internet connections or a bad server is usually the fault.

POP errors are tough. Most of the time they are due to server issues or congested Internet traffic like email errors.

Outlook itself can crash with a wide range of errors. Reinstalling Outlook usually corrects the problem.

Most problems with Outlook Express can be fixed fairly easy. Sometimes though additional software may be required to correct the problem.
