Based in the Dallas suburb of Irvine, Texas -- the Cowboys are a professional football team that was established back in 1960 under the Western Conference, a year later they became part of the Eastern conference which was a venture that lasted about eight years (1969); from 1970 until today they have been part of the national football conference East division. Their home stadiums are and have been: the cotton bowl, the Texas Stadium, the new stadium in Arlington, Texas. The current owner and general manager of the team is Jerry Jones and head coach Wade Phillips.

It goes without saying a Dallas Cowboys are one of the most successful professional football teams in the NFL, they have had a record number of appearances in playoff games, in total they have had 29 appearances in playoff games which go back from 1966 all the way to 2007 (and they will most likely be present in the 2008 season and the many to come). They have 10 conference championships and 19 division championships under their belt and to top it all off they have been Super Bowl champions five different occasions (1971, 1977, 1992, 1993 and 1995). We should also add to the list of accomplishments of the Dallas Cowboys are one of the wealthiest teams and football franchises in the NFL, their average annual revenue is estimated at 250 million.
